We all artists suffer from a case of the itis.. Itis, a suffix that means inflammation. In this case, I’m not referring to a literal inflammation of a body part, but to an inflated, ever growing, and always expanding artistic body organ.This organ is kind of a mutant, it’s a combination of a lot of soul, pieces of your very own heart, and genious creation that ignites on ocassion.. When the dendrites spark each other ignited by a memory, a thought, or a muse, all of our senses go into overdrive, and we become restless until we give flow to all that is
What’s the cure for this lovable ailment? Since it’s a chronic condition, it will always be at
your side. So, give it space, listen to what his symptoms may be telling you… If it tells you
to paint, paint, if it tells you to write, write, if if tells you to dance, dance.
So, for all us that daydream, for all of us that feel antsy until we express somehow what is
contained within, and for all of us that feel this familiar itch, start your engines and
buckle up. It’s going to be am exciting ride.
